Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja is ready to make his acting debut in the Hindi film industry. He will star in a love story directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sai Rajesh & continue his father’s legacy.
Yashvardhan Ahuja Set To Make His Bollywood Debut
As per a Pinkvilla report, The film is expected to be a special and emotional love story. Sources say Yashvardhan was chosen for the role based on his talent and underwent a thorough audition process.
“The yet untitled love story will bring the second generation of Govinda’s legacy to the big screen,” revealed an insider. The film is directed by Sai Rajesh and produced by Madhu Mantena, with Allu Aravind and SKN Films also involved.
Fresh Face To Be Brought For Female Lead Too, 14000 People Have Auditioned
The filmmakers are currently looking for the female lead. The casting director Mukesh Chhabra has already received more than 14,000 audition clips. The search is ongoing, and the team hopes to finalize the actress soon. According to reports, filming is expected to start in Summer 2025.
Music will play a key role in the film. The team is working on creating an original and soulful soundtrack, understanding how important music is for a love story.
Yashvardhan’s debut has generated excitement as fans eager to see the next generation of the Ahuja family on screen. His father, Govinda, has been a major figure in Bollywood (known for iconic films like Coolie No. 1, Partner, and Bhagam Bhaag). For the unversed, Govinda is also planning his big screen return. During his appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, he revealed three upcoming films: Bayen Haath Ka Khel, Pinky Darling, and Len Den: It’s All About Business.
Additionally, he also refuted the rumours of being cast in Bhagam Bhag 2. He clarified that ‘nobody has approached’ him for the sequel so far.
