Aamir Khan recently shared his thoughts on Vanvaas, a film that has drawn the attention of Laal Singh Chaddha actor. In a special podcast with Nana Patekar, Khan revealed that he first heard the story months ago when director Anil Sharma narrated it to him.

Khan also recalled how Anil Sharma’s narration of the film left a lasting impression on him. “The way the character is portrayed and the way it’s expressed is really, really good,” Khan said.
Vanvaas tells the emotional story of a father’s journey. Director Anil Sharma explained the film’s deeper meaning in an interview with IANS. He said, “It is a story in which we have tried to show that a father is above all. It is a film that will get into everyone, and every father will watch the film and then tell their sons to go watch it.”
BOW’s Review Of Vanvaas
As per Box Office Worldwide’s review, Vanvaas tries to blend emotional depth with a relevant social message, but it doesn’t fully succeed. The predictable storyline and over-the-top execution hold it back from reaching its potential. While Nana Patekar delivers a strong performance and the visuals are appealing, they can’t quite make up for the film’s weaknesses.
If you enjoy family dramas, Vanvaas offers an emotional experience, but it’s far from perfect. It tries to highlight the importance of family bonds but doesn’t bring anything new to the table. Those looking for fresh storytelling or well-developed characters will likely be disappointed.
For the unversed, Vanvaas was released in theatres on December 20. It has struggled to make a significant impact at the box office since its release.
