Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan is reportedly in advanced talks with celebrated Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a highly anticipated pan-India film.
According to Telugu entertainment portal Aakashavaani, the collaboration between Khan and Kanagaraj is generating significant buzz, with the duo and production house Mythri Movie Makers engaged in deep discussions.

Though nothing has been officially confirmed yet, sources indicate that the project is on the verge of being finalised. If negotiations proceed as expected, an official announcement could be just around the corner. This collaboration is poised to make a substantial impact on Indian cinema, given the stature of the individuals involved.
Lokesh Kanagaraj & Aamir Khan’s Work Front
Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his impressive filmography, is coming off the success of Leo. Released in 2023, Leo was a massive hit and part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, following his previous successes Kaithi and Vikram. Currently, Kanagaraj is busy with his upcoming film Coolie, which stars Rajinikanth.
Aamir Khan, a prominent figure in Bollywood, has also been active behind the scenes. He recently produced Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao. The film was showcased at the Supreme Court of India on August 9, with Khan himself present at the event.
Looking ahead, Aamir’s fans are eagerly anticipating his next major release, Sitaare Zameen Par. Scheduled for a Christmas 2024 release, the film will focus on Down Syndrome and is expected to further cement Aamir’s reputation for tackling meaningful and impactful subjects.
