Aamir Khan‘s son, Junaid Khan, is preparing to step into the Bollywood limelight with his debut. He has been working diligently on various projects, with the most notable being the highly anticipated Maharaj.
This film is set for an OTT release on June 14. Meanwhile, Junaid has also started shooting for another eagerly awaited project, a remake of the Tamil movie Love Today.
Junaid Khan Begins Shooting For Love Today With Khushi Kapoor
In this new venture, Junaid will be seen alongside Khushi Kapoor, the sister of Janhvi Kapoor and an actor in The Archies. The film is directed by Advait Chandan, who is known for his work on Secret Superstar and Laal Singh Chaddha.
Filming for the Love Today remake began recently in Mumbai. According to a report by Mid-Day, the project was initially slated to start filming in June, but director Advait Chandan decided to move the start date forward.
A source revealed, “Sunday was the first day of the shoot, but Junaid and Khushi started their portions only on Monday. Since Junaid will be busy promoting Maharaj next month, the director started filming a few days earlier. Over the coming three weeks, Advait and his unit will shoot across Mumbai. The banquet hall of Seven Eleven Club in Mira Road is the primary location for the next few days.”
The report also mentioned that the team aims to complete the outdoor scenes by mid-June, anticipating the onset of the rainy season in Mumbai.
Aamir Khan has been extensively involved in the pre-production of the Love Today remake. However, the superstar is expected to travel to Delhi this week to wrap up the final phase of his upcoming project, Sitaare Zameen Par.
