Akshay Kumar is back with another spiritual song and it’s all about Lord Shiva. His latest single “Mahakal Chalo” has arrived just in time for Maha Shivratri. The actor has teamed up with singer Palash Sen to create a powerful musical tribute filled with devotion.
Akshay Kumar Sings In ‘Mahakal Chalo’ Music Video
The music video, choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, captures Akshay and Palash in a setting full of divine energy. Akshay is seen singing with deep passion and offering prayers at a Shiva temple. The song, composed by Vikram Montrose and written by Shekhar Astitwa, brings a strong spiritual vibe.
Sharing the song on social media, Akshay wrote, “Another step in devotion to Shiva, Mahakal Chalo! I hope you feel the same divine experience that I felt while singing.”
Palash Sen Praises Akshay’s Dedication
Palash Sen, who collaborated with Akshay on the track, had high praise for him. Speaking to Hindustan Times, he said, “It was incredible working with Akshay, who, despite his superstardom, remains humble and respectful. He’s a thorough professional.”
He added, “When we arrived on set, he knew the entire song by heart, while I was still struggling with the lyrics. He kept saying he’s not a singer, but I must admit, he’s a naturally gifted one.”
This isn’t Akshay’s first devotional track. He made his singing debut with “Shambhu” – another song dedicated to Lord Shiva. The track, featuring Sudhir Yaduvanshi and Vikram Montrose, was well-received by fans, making “Mahakal Chalo” a much-awaited follow-up.
