Their collaboration has consistently produced successful movies like Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat. It is evident that they share a strong bond. Therefore, when news of their reunion for another film, an action-packed project called Super Soldier, surfaced, fans couldn’t contain their excitement. However, the film’s release has been postponed, disappointing their eager supporters. In a recent interaction, the director finally addressed the delay.
Super Soldier, a film that was set to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and starred Katrina Kaif, had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as per multiple reports. Both Zafar and Kaif became occupied with their individual projects, causing further delays in the film’s production. The film was anticipated to showcase Katrina’s impressive action skills, reminiscent of her roles in Tiger Zinda Hai and Phantom.
Ali Abbas Zafar recently confirmed that the film has been pushed back once again but assured fans that it has not been abandoned. He explained that the project was initially planned earlier, but Katrina’s commitment to shooting for Tiger 3 and the outbreak of the pandemic caused the delays. Zafar expressed his intention to wait for the right time when both he and Katrina are available to begin production.
