Allu Arjun’s success with Pushpa 2 has been overshadowed by a tragic event at the Sandhya Theatre. A stampede at a promotional event led to the death of a woman, and her son remains critically injured. The actor was arrested and spent a night in jail but was later granted bail.
Allu Arjun Interrogated For 2 Hrs By Hyderabad Cops
On December 24, 2024, Allu Arjun appeared before the Hyderabad police for questioning. He was questioned for two hours at the Chikkadapally police station. Reports say the actor cooperated fully and answered all questions about the incident. His lawyer was with him throughout the process.
The stampede has sparked political tensions, with figures like CM Revanth Reddy accusing Allu Arjun of negligence. This led the actor to hold a press conference, where he criticised the government for targeting him. His comments escalated the situation, and the Telangana government has since appealed for his bail to be cancelled.
Bouncer Who Created Chaos By Pushing Fans Arrested
After the questioning, Allu Arjun was allowed to return home. However, the case is still ongoing. A bouncer, who is believed to have contributed to the chaos by pushing fans, has been arrested. This adds another layer to the investigation.
There has been heavy security around the police station to protect the actor from crowds of fans. It is also being reported that Allu Arjun may be asked to visit the Sandhya Theatre for a recreation of the incident. This could help authorities better understand what happened during the tragic stampede.
Public criticism of Allu Arjun continues, with the Telangana government accusing him of negligence. Recently, his home in Jubilee Hills was targeted by vandals, prompting increased security. White cloths have been placed around his house to prevent visibility.
For now, Allu Arjun cannot leave the country due to the ongoing investigation. The case is still under review, and further updates are expected soon.
