A source close to the development revealed that Bhushan was highly impressed with the film and Rajkumar’s storytelling. “Bhushan Kumar watched Amaran and was bowled over by the conviction and storytelling of Rajkumar Periasamy. He discussed a couple of ideas with the director and got him on board to make a big screen spectacle,” the source told Pinkvilla. It is expected to go on floors by the end of 2025.
Though the details of the new film are being kept secret, there is already a lot of excitement about the collaboration. The film is expected to be a high-concept spectacle designed for a wide Indian audience. The source mentioned that Rajkumar and Bhushan’s sensibilities have aligned, and the goal is to create a strong film for cinema lovers.

He is also working on sequels for Raid 2, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4, Bhoothnath 3, and De De Pyaar De 2. Additionally, he is set to produce Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 2, as well as a love story with Kartik Aaryan directed by Anurag Basu.
