Atlee is preparing for another massive film, this time starring Salman Khan. The project (tentatively titled A6) is still in its early stages but is already making headlines.
Reports suggest that the film will have a huge budget of ₹500 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian movies ever.
Salman Khan To Lose Weight For Atlee’s A6
A6 is described as a period drama with elements of reincarnation. A source shared with Bollywood Hungama, “A6 is a period drama with reincarnation elements, and Atlee is planning to create a unique world. Salman is also excited to explore something fresh with Atlee and is all charged up to lose the weight too, as A6 requires him to have a certain kind of physique.”
Atlee has been teasing the project for a while, confirming that the script is almost done and the team is deep into preparations. He assured that an official announcement would be made in the near future.

He was also asked about Salman Khan’s role in an old interview. However, the filmmaker kept things under wraps and hinted at major surprises. He assured fans that the casting would exceed expectations and called the film a proud moment for Indian cinema. He also revealed that final casting decisions are nearly complete with an announcement expected soon.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently filming Sikandar, which is set for an Eid 2025 release. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna. Once he completes this project, he is expected to start work on A6.
Atlee recently produced Baby John starring Varun Dhawan. The film directed by Kalees did not perform well at the box office due to its similarities with Theri. However, Salman Khan’s cameo in the film received praise with many appreciating how Atlee presented the superstar.
