After extensive deliberations, they finally made a decision and opted to sell the movie’s rights to the OTT platform JioCinema for a direct-to-digital release.

According to a source in the industry, the movie’s producers (Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar, and Jyoti Deshpande) have shown immense confidence in their film. They believe they have a surefire hit on their hands, thanks to the positive feedback received from various focus group and trial screenings. People from diverse backgrounds have unanimously praised the movie during these screenings. It’s been a while since such a delightful and enjoyable family comedy, a refreshing and modern caper, has been presented to the audience. In a time when there’s an abundance of dark and intense content online, this film is set to bring a much-needed breath of fresh air.
According to the source, ‘Dhoom Dhaam’ has fetched the highest price compared to Yami Gautam’s previous films released on OTT platforms. The actress has had an exceptional two years with consecutive releases like A Thursday, Dasvi, Lost, and Chor Nikalke Bhaga. Similarly, Pratik Gandhi, who gained fame through Hansal Mehta’s Scam 1992, has received significant acclaim for his acting prowess.
Dhoom Dhaam marks Yami Gautam’s first collaboration with her husband, Aditya Dhar, as a producer. It also brings Yami back to the comedy genre after her role in ‘Bala.’
On another note, Yami Gautam is set to appear in OMG 2 alongside Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, with the film slated for a theatrical release on August 11.
