Chand Dekh Lena Song Teaser Out: Salman Khan Teases Maatrubhumi Love Track With Chitrangda Singh

Salman Khan has switched lanes from battlefield grit to bruised-heart romance, and he has done it in the most Salman way possible, with a poetic couplet and a short, punchy preview. On March 17, 2026, the superstar shared a 14 second teaser of Chand Dekh Lena, a new track from his war drama Maatrubhumi (earlier titled Battle of Galwan), giving fans their first taste of the film’s softer musical mood.

The snippet arrives as the film’s music campaign continues to build, with Salman using his social handle to spotlight the soundtrack under the Salman Khan Films Music banner.

The Latest Update From Maatrubhumi

In his post, Salman wrote, “Maatrubhumi ka yeh gana, Chand Dekh Lena tumhey hum nazar ayenge,” tagging director Apoorva Lakhia and co star Chitrangda Singh, along with the music team including composer Himesh Reshammiya and lyricist Sameer Anjaan. The teaser credits also mention singers Nihal Tauro and Ankona Mukherjee, hinting at a fresh vocal pairing for the film’s romantic turn.

While earlier promotional beats leaned heavily into patriotism, Chand Dekh Lena signals a deliberate shift. The teaser is mounted on the line “WHEN THE DISTANCE ACHES,” positioning the song as a longing soaked melody, and suggesting the film will balance personal stakes alongside its military canvas.

Maatrubhumi is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under Salman Khan Films. Chitrangda Singh plays the female lead opposite Salman, and the album so far has been anchored by Himesh Reshammiya’s compositions with lyrics by Sameer Anjaan. Earlier this year, the film’s title track Maatrubhumi was released with vocals by Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, and Master Mani Dharamkot, underlining the film’s emotional core through a nation first lens.

The film itself draws from the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, and the visuals teased so far have pointed to a physically intense, high altitude war setting. With Chand Dekh Lena, the makers appear keen to widen that emotional palette before the next round of reveals.

Salman Khan’s Recent And Upcoming Work
