The much-discussed song “Dammunte Pattukora” from Pushpa 2: The Rule has caused a stir since its release, sparking controversy due to its timing and content. The remix of a dialogue between Allu Arjun (Pushpa Raj) and Fahadh Faasil (Bhanwar Singh Shekawat) was initially released, only to be taken down by T-Series the very next day.
However, after much buzz and debate, the song reappeared online within 24 hours.

About The Controversial Pushpa 2 Song & Why It Was Pulled Down
In the film, Pushpa taunts Shekawat with the line: “Dammunte pattukora Shekawathu, pattukunte vadilesta syndicate.” (Catch me if you dare, Shekawat, I’ll leave the syndicate if you succeed.)
The dialogue, which is laced with Pushpa’s signature swagger, has now been remixed into a song. This made it viral among fans once again & many joked about vibing to it after watching the film.
The song’s quick disappearance from YouTube left fans puzzled. No explanation was given at first, which led to widespread speculation. Was the release too much, too soon?
The internet debated whether the song’s release was intended as lighthearted fun or whether it was insensitive given the actor’s recent legal troubles.
Despite this attempt to reignite excitement, the song’s release timing remains controversial.
Allu Arjun Recently Appeared In Court For Hyderabad Stampede Case
The issue lies in the content of the song, which sees Pushpa mocking the police & the timing of its release. Allu Arjun’s character, known for his defiant attitude, is seen mocking authority. Many felt it was ill-timed given the actor’s own legal issues.
Arjun has been under scrutiny following a tragic incident at the premiere of Pushpa 2 in early December. During the event at Sandhya Theatre, a stampede broke out after Arjun’s visit, leading to the death of a fan and the hospitalisation of a young boy. The incident has led to calls for accountability from both the Telangana police and the state’s CM, Revanth Reddy.
Arjun attended a court session virtually on Saturday, as part of an ongoing investigation into the incident.
