As per a new report by Pinkvilla, Salman Khan recently met screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad in Mumbai. The two reportedly came up with a fresh concept that could shape the sequel. The report also confirmed that the project has entered a development stage.
A source revealed, “Salman Khan has met V. Vijayendra Prasad a couple of days back. They have come up with an idea and discussions are on that could be for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Moreover, there is a chance of possible collaboration between V. Vijayendra Prasad and director Kabir Khan, the trio is coming together. However, nothing has been finalised yet.”
Fans will be excited about the possible trio of Salman, Vijayendra Prasad and Kabir Khan. That alone is enough to raise expectations.
About The Original Film
The original Bajrangi Bhaijaan was released in 2015. It became a blockbuster and won a National Film Award for ‘Wholesome Entertainment.’ The story of Pawan and Munni left a deep impact on audiences. It mixed strong emotions with powerful performances and a social message.
Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the first film, is known for his storytelling skills. He has delivered many hits, including Magadheera, Eega, the Baahubali films and RRR. His return signals that the sequel is being crafted with the same sincerity and scale.
