Don 3 is the third instalment of the action thriller series that started with Don (2006) and Don 2 (2011), both starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The film is expected to go on floors soon and will feature Ranveer Singh as the new Don, while Kiara Advani will play his love interest. The film will also have some international cast and crew, as per the reports.
Emraan Hashmi clears the air around Don 3 rumours
Actor Emraan Hashmi has denied the reports of him playing the antagonist in the upcoming film Don 3, starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani. The rumours started when he was spotted at the office of Farhan Akhtar, who is the director and producer of the Don franchise.
On February 21, 2024, Emraan took to his Instagram story to set the record straight. “For the fans and journalists that are asking,” he wrote, “I was never a part of Don 3. Was never offered the movie.”

Emraan Hashmi Joins Goodachari 2
Emraan took to his Instagram and shared a poster of G2 featuring him and wrote the caption, “The biggest spy franchise gets a blockbuster addition (fire heart emoji)”. Expressing excitement Adivi shared in a statement, “I am thrilled to have Emraan Hashmi on board for G2. His presence will undoubtedly bring a new dimension to the film.” Producer Abhishek Agarwal also shared his immense joy and said, “”It is wonderful to have Emraan coming on board for G2. His stature and acting prowess will completely justify the weight of the character. The most awaited spy franchise gets more exciting with his addition to the team.” Emraan Hashmi also shared his onboarding excitement to the spy thriller and said, “Joining the cast of G2 is truly exciting. The script is compelling, and I look forward to being part of this spy thriller”
