Ram Charan‘s highly anticipated film Game Changer is facing unexpected obstacles in Tamil Nadu. This Shankar directorial is set to release on January 10, 2024. However, its release in Tamil Nadu is now uncertain.
This issue arose after Lyca Productions which backs Shankar’s other project Indian 3. The production banner filed a complaint with the Tamil Nadu Producers’ Council. They have demanded that Game Changer be delayed until Shankar finishes the much-awaited Indian 3, starring Kamal Haasan.
Indian 3 Makers Want Shankar To Finish It Before Releasing Game Changer
The delay is due to unfinished work on Indian 3, which is the third film in the Indian franchise. Shankar has yet to complete important parts of the film, including a song featuring Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh.
It’s been suggested that Shankar shifted his focus to Game Changer after the underperformance of Indian 2, leaving Indian 3 incomplete.
Lyca Productions is reportedly unhappy with Shankar’s decision to work on other projects before finishing theirs. This complaint signals frustration and tension between the filmmaker and the production company.
The Tamil Nadu Producers’ Council now faces the challenge of resolving this dispute, with the fate of Game Changer’s release in the state up in the air.
Will Ram Charan Starrer Face Delay In Tamil Nadu Release?
Though Shankar and Lyca Productions are said to be working on a resolution, it’s unclear whether Game Changer will hit Tamil Nadu theatres as scheduled.
Meanwhile, the unfinished work on Indian 3 is expected to resume after Game Changer’s release. However, it remains uncertain if Indian 3 will release this year, as Shankar has previously suggested.
