Ibrahim Ali Khan is slowly finding his place in Bollywood, and he’s already thinking big. While most people believed his first shoot was for Nadaaniyan, his Netflix rom-com debut, the reality is different.
He revealed that his actual first day on set was for Sarzameen, a film that hasn’t been released yet. The film stars Kajol and South superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran alongside him.

In an interview with Filmfare, Ibrahim recalled how he felt on that day. The young actor called it a ‘nerve-wracking’ experience as he described how it felt to be on set with such experienced actors. Standing beside names like Kajol and Prithviraj is no small deal for a newcomer.
He had high praise for Kajol and called her a ‘phenomenal actress’. He shared how special it was to work with her and how much he learned from her presence. But it was his time with Prithviraj that really left an impact on him. He said, “I fell in love with the South industry.” He described Prithviraj as a ‘powerhouse’ and called the experience ‘life-changing’.
Ibrahim also shared his excitement about possibly working in the South industry someday. He shared, “I hope someone makes a South film with me.”
About Sarzameen
Sarzameen hasn’t been officially announced yet, but many are already talking about it. The film is said to revolve around Kashmir terrorism and is being directed by Kayoze Irani, son of actor Boman Irani. The story reportedly centres on three main characters played by Prithviraj, Kajol, and Ibrahim. According to early buzz, Kajol and Prithviraj are cast opposite each other, while Ibrahim’s role is being kept secret for now.
In 2022, it was revealed that Prithviraj had joined the film. The update hinted at an intense storyline and a strong lead trio.
Besides Sarzameen, Ibrahim is also shooting for Maddock’s Diler. It’s produced by Dinesh Vijan and features Sreeleela as the female lead.
