Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, is set to make his Bollywood debut with the highly anticipated film Sarzameen. Scheduled for release in January 2025, the film stars Ibrahim alongside Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Sarzameen is a patriotic drama about an army officer’s mission to fight terrorism in Kashmir, with Ibrahim playing a key role. The film finished shooting in April 2024, with some parts recently reshot. If all goes well in post-production, the movie aims for a release around Republic Day.

However, Sarzameen could face tough competition at the box office from Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force, which is set to release on January 24, 2025. Both films share a patriotic theme, and their release dates are very close.
Sky Force is an action-packed drama based on India’s first airstrike on Pakistan. It stars Nimrat Kaur, Sara Ali Khan, and Veer Pahariya and is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur. The film is expected to deliver an emotional and dramatic experience.
The team behind Sky Force believes the film is perfect for a Republic Day release and is building excitement with its patriotic focus. The trailer for Sky Force is expected to be released during the Christmas 2024 holiday season to keep the buzz going.
Ibrahim’s Work Front
Meanwhile, Ibrahim is also working on another exciting project. His upcoming sports drama, Diler, will see him play a marathoner. The film is currently being shot in London and will feature South actress Sreeleela alongside Ibrahim. Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Diler is already generating a lot of interest.
With both Sarzameen and Sky Force targeting similar release dates, it will be interesting to see how they perform at the box office in January 2025.
