The International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA 2025) was a night to remember! The grand 25th edition was held on March 8,9 and brought Bollywood’s biggest names under one roof for a spectacular celebration of cinema, music, and performances.
Laapataa Ladies Seures Highest Wins At IIFA 2025
It was a winning spree for Laapataa Ladies. Kiran Rao’s film took home 10 awards, making it the biggest winner of the night. The film bagged Best Picture, Best Director for Kiran Rao, and Best Actress for Nitanshi Goel. Ravi Kishan and Pratibha Ranta also scored wins for their stellar performances in the film.
Kartik Aaryan (known for his comic timing and intense roles) clinched Best Actor for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Meanwhile, the high-octane thriller Kill also brought multiple trophies with Raghav Juyal taking home the award for Best Performance in a Negative Role.

About The Event
The festivities kicked off with the IIFA Digital Awards on March 8, setting the stage for an even bigger night on March 9. This year, IIFA paid homage to the iconic film Sholay as it completed 50 years.
Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit set the stage on fire with their high-energy performance, while Kareena Kapoor Khan delivered a heartfelt tribute to her grandfather (legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor) as he was honoured for his 100-year legacy in cinema.
