The actor confirmed the news by sharing a poster in multiple languages, stirring excitement among moviegoers.

Shankar Announces Indian 2 Release Date
Director Shankar, known for his grand cinematic vision, also took to his social media profiles to officially announce the release date. Indian 2, a sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Indian, promises to be a major event in the Indian film industry.

The original film was a massive hit in Tamil and also performed exceptionally well in Telugu (titled Bharatheeyudu) and Hindi (titled Hindustani), setting high expectations for the sequel.

When Will Indian 2 FIRST Single Release?
Promotional activities for the film are set to begin on May 22 with the release of the first single from the film’s soundtrack.
This track will be available in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, showcasing the film’s broad appeal. Anirudh Ravichander, who composed the music for Kamal Haasan’s recent hit Vikram, is scoring the soundtrack for Indian 2.
This marks his first collaboration with Shankar, adding to the anticipation for the film’s music. Fans are eagerly awaiting the official release time for the first single, which will be announced soon.
For the unversed, Indian 2 faced significant challenges during its production, including an unfortunate accident that temporarily halted shooting. However, filming resumed with support from Udhayanidhi Stalin, allowing the project to get back on track.
