Kabir Khan (the director behind films like Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, 83, and Chandu Champion) is joining forces with Applause Entertainment for a two-film deal. This partnership brings together Kabir’s storytelling skills and Applause Entertainment’s talent for creating unique content.
Applause Entertainment (known for popular series such as Scam, Criminal Justice, and Undekhi) is now stepping into theatrical films.
Kabir Khan To Creatively Produce Both, Direct One Of The Two Films
The two films will be co-produced by both Kabir Khan Films and Applause Entertainment. Kabir will direct one of the films and creatively produce both.
Known for his ability to craft stories that connect with a wide audience, Kabir’s collaboration with Applause aims to deliver films that are both entertaining and meaningful.
Here’s What He Said On This Collaboration
Kabir expressed his excitement about the collaboration and said, “This collaboration with Applause is a natural fit as we both share a passion for stories that resonate with people at their core. The beauty of this partnership lies in the creative freedom it offers, and I’m thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with Sameer and his incredible team.”
On the personal front, Kabir is currently attending the Maha Kumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh. In an interview with ANI, he shared, “I feel fortunate to have come here. I will take a holy dip here too. These things are not about Hindus and Muslims, these are the things of our origin, our country, and our civilization. There is no Hindu or Muslim in this. If you believe you are an Indian, then you should feel everything.”
Kabir’s last directorial project, Chandu Champion, starring Kartik Aaryan, was released in June 2024. The film received positive feedback from critics and but failed to create a strong impact at the box office.
