Director Shankar addressed these queries during a press interaction, drawing a comparison with a martial arts master in China: “There is a martial arts master in China, who at the age of 120, is performing martial arts, flying and kicking. This Senapathy character is also a master in martial arts called Varma art.”

About Indian & Indian 2
Indian, released in 1996, was a commercial blockbuster that received widespread acclaim. The film starred Kamal Haasan in dual roles, depicting father and son, with the climactic scene showing Senapathy eliminating his corrupted son Chandru, portrayed by Kamal Haasan himself.
