In his 15-year career, Kartik Aaryan has rapidly scaled great heights in the world of Hindi cinema. As he gained immense popularity, he also became the face of many popular brands. However, Kartik has been very particular when it comes to his choices regarding endorsements.
He candidly expressed his discomfort over endorsing fairness creams and pan-masala brands recently in an interview with The Lallantop. Kartik said that he refused such advertisements including supari, as he thought such endorsements would not look right morally to him.
Here’s What Kartik Said On Rejecting Face Cream & Pan-Masala Ads
About the same, Kartik shared, “I did an ad for a face cream a long time ago but then I stopped it. I was not convinced with it. I did not renew it because then I understood that it could be wrong.”
Further elaborating, the actor said, “I have been offered a lot of brands that I have refused. Like those supari, pan masala brands. I don’t relate to those things. And I try that as long as I can, I refuse these things. I can’t say who is right or wrong, everyone has their own way of thinking. But this doesn’t fit my plans.”
Kartik Aaryan: Work Front
Kartik will soon appear in Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion. In the film, the actor will be seen essaying the role of former Indian paralympic gold-medalist Murlikant Petkar. To bring this massive saga alive, Kartik has undergone a full-fledged physical transformation to look like an athlete.
Other members of the cast include Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Aniruddh Dave, Palak Lalwani, and many others. Chandu Champion has been shot in London, Wai, and Jammu and Kashmir. This co-production by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, which will be presented under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Kabir Khan Films banner, will reach the big screen on June 14.
Kartik Aaryan’s next project is Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film features Tripti Dimri and Vidya Balan in important roles. This horror-comedy is scheduled for release on October 31, 2024.
