The countdown to Stree 2 is officially on with the horror-comedy set to hit cinemas on August 15. The buzz around the film just got a lot louder thanks to the makers & Varun Dhawan, who have just confirmed a surprising crossover with his 2022 hit, Bhediya.
Yes, you read that right, Varun’s appearance in the film is confirmed as the new track “Khoobsurat” has been teased.
Varun Dhawan & Makers TEASE Stree 2 Song ‘Khoobsurat’
In a recent Instagram post, Varun unveiled a clip from the new song “Khoobsurat” from Stree 2. The video showcases an unexpected crossover between his character from Bhediya and Shraddha Kapoor’s character in the upcoming film. This revelation has fans of both movies eagerly anticipating the film’s release.
Varun’s Instagram post included a teaser caption: “Iss Stree ki khoobsurti ka kaun hai yeh naya aashiq? #Khoobsurat Song Out Tomorrow! #Stree2, the legend returns this Independence Day, 15th August. Bhediya se yeh mulaqat #Khoobsurat rahi! Stay tuned!” This caption hints at an exciting connection between the two Maddock Films’ franchises.
The video begins with a voiceover by Shraddha Kapoor, saying, “Kuch kahaniyo ko samjha nahi jata, sirf mehsoos kiya jata hai,” which means, “Some stories are not meant to be understood, rather are made to be felt.” The scene shows Shraddha in a striking red saree, her hair flowing as she stands on a balcony. Varun’s character makes a dramatic entrance, clearly captivated by her.
