After Theatrical Success, Lucky Baskhar To Stream On OTT Within A Month?
Lucky Baskhar is Dulquer’s third outing in Telugu cinema, following his successful roles in Mahanati and Sita Ramam. The film has been well-received by audiences, generating buzz on social media about its potential digital release.
Although the makers have not officially confirmed the date, reports suggest that Lucky Baskhar may start streaming on Netflix from November 30, after completing its theatrical run.
About The Film & It’s BO Performance So Far
The movie, set in the 1980s, tells the story of a middle-class banker who struggles to make ends meet. Despite his dedication, he finds himself overlooked for a promotion and frustrated with his mundane job. In a desperate attempt to improve his financial situation, he turns to money laundering, leading him into a web of conflicts that drastically alter his life.
On its opening day, the film raked in an impressive Rs 11 crore, followed by Rs 12 crore on its second day. The upward trend continued, with Lucky Baskhar grossing Rs 13 crore on its third day, bringing its total box office collection to Rs 36 crore globally. The film is expected to keep earning, with projections estimating its first-weekend revenue to be between Rs 47 crore and Rs 51 crore.
The film faced stiff competition from other releases, including Brother, starring Jayam Ravi, Amaran featuring Sivakarthikeyan, Kiran’s KA, and Kavin’s Bloody Beggar. Despite this, Lucky Baskhar has managed to carve out a solid place in the market.
