Every Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan delights his fans with a special ritual outside his Jalsa home, where he meets and greets the crowds gathered to catch a glimpse of the Bollywood legend.
Today, August 4, the tradition took on an added charm as Big B was joined by his grandson, actor Agastya Nanda.

In a heartwarming video shared on Instagram, Amitabh Bachchan is seen smiling broadly as he interacts with his fans, who have eagerly gathered for their weekly dose of star power.
Agastya, who is standing a little behind, is captured doing ‘namaste’ by folding his hands and beaming with pride. The contrast in their outfits—Amitabh in a casual hoodie and pants, and Agastya in a crisp white traditional ensemble—adds a delightful touch to the moment.

This Sunday’s gathering was particularly poignant for Amitabh Bachchan. He recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his gratitude for the overwhelming love he received on August 2, his “second birthday.”
Born on October 1, 1942, Big B celebrates August 2 as a special day, marking the anniversary of his recovery from a near-fatal accident on the sets of Coolie in 1982. This day has since become a symbol of his resilience and is celebrated with heartfelt messages from fans.
In his 5091st tweet, Amitabh wrote, “My love and greetings for all your blessings for the 2nd of August. I am unable to reply individually, so accept this as my response. Blessed 🙏 I shall make an effort though time permitting.”
