The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma and released on September 6, 2013, not only marked a significant milestone in her career but also the Bollywood debut of the talented Vaani Kapoor.

Shuddh Desi Romance” was a romantic comedy that struck a chord with audiences, revolving around the complexities of love and commitment among three young protagonists. As Parineeti fondly recalled the film, she shared nostalgic footage on her social media and paid tribute to her co-stars, including the late actor Rishi Kapoor and the beloved Sushant Singh Rajput.

Taking to her official Instagram handle, the actress wrote, “Time really flies! A decade to this film but the memories are still fresh. This movie was a journey full of laughter, hectic shoots but heartwarming moments. 💕What an experience shooting this film with such legendary actors. Rishi sir, we miss you. Sushant, miss you even more. You were one of my favorite co-stars. #10YearsOfShuddhDesiRomance.”

As Parineeti relived these cherished memories, fans of Sushant Singh Rajput joined in, expressing their affection for the late actor who tragically passed away in June 2020. Comments poured in on Parineeti’s post, with fans reminiscing about Sushant’s unparalleled charm and his role in the film.

One fan commented, “The charm of this movie was God level… Missing Sushant Singh Rajput…❤️,” while another added, “Miss you ssr.” The sentiments were echoed in comments like “Miss him so badly @sushantsinghrajput ❤️❤️.”

Notably, “Shuddh Desi Romance” was the second film of Sushant Singh Rajput In 2013, following his impressive debut in “Kai Po Che.”

Sushant’s Another Film Chhichhore Completes 4 Years

On the same day, filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, known for his heartwarming storytelling, shared photos from the set of “Chhichhore,” which hit the cinema halls exactly four years ago on September 6, 2019. The pictures captured the camaraderie among the entire cast and crew.

Quoting one of the film’s songs, Tiwari wrote on Instagram, “‘Woh Din Bhi Kya Din The.’ My heart is full of wonderful memories and gratitude for all the love 🙏 #4YearsOfChhichhore.”

Actor Varun Sharma responded with heartfelt emojis, and fans left touching messages like “Sushant ❤️❤️❤️❤️” and “Missing you Sushant❤️.”

“Chhichhore” not only touched hearts but also achieved critical acclaim, bagging the Best Film (Hindi) award at the 67th National Film Awards in 2021. The film’s producer, Sajid Nadiadwala, dedicated the honour to Sushant Singh Rajput, expressing his ongoing grief over the loss of the talented actor.

“On behalf of NGE, I dedicate this extremely prestigious award to Sushant Singh Rajput. We can’t get over his loss ever, but I sincerely pray that this award gives a little bit of happiness to his family and fans, which includes me. And I am tremendously grateful to Nitesh Tiwari for giving us all this very special movie,” he stated.

“Chhichhore” is a heartwarming story of seven college friends who reunite in their later years, cherishing the memories of their vibrant student life. The film continues to hold a special place in the hearts of fans, much like the memory of the talented Sushant Singh Rajput himself.
