As the release date of Rhea Chakraborty’s film Chehre approaches, the hashtag ‘Boycott Bollywood’ has resurfaced on social media. Following the murder of Rhea’s boyfriend, actor Sushant Singh Rajput, fans took to social media to demand that Rhea’s role in the film be removed. While the film’s makers support the actress, SSR fans aren’t ready to accept it.

Karan’s Dharma Productions recently released the patriotic film Shershaah, which received a lot of positive feedback. Fans, on the other hand, are dissatisfied that KJo is receiving so much attention.

Meanwhile, Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, Siddhanth Kapoor, and Rhea Chakraborty star in Rumy Jafry’s Chehre, which is produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures & Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited. The film will be released in theatres on August 27, 2021.
