Prabhas Is Currently Shooting The Raja Saab & Will Move To Fauji Next
At the moment, Prabhas is shooting Maruthi’s The Raja Saab, where he plays a common man who, after visiting his ancestral property, sets off a series of unexpected events. A source revealed to mid-day, “In the horror comedy, Prabhas sports a distinct hairstyle, so he can’t shoot for other projects until this one wraps. He’s expected to finish by next month.”
Once he completes The Raja Saab, Prabhas will jump straight into Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The period drama is set during the Razakar movement, which resisted Hyderabad’s integration into India.
Prabhas will be playing a Razakar soldier, and to match the role’s intensity, the actor will undergo a physical transformation. He will bulk up for this one, and the look will be starkly different from anything fans have seen him in lately. Shooting for Fauji begins in October, with Prabhas locking in a three-month schedule for the film.
Preparation For Kalki 2898 AD Sequel & Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit In 2025
Then, as 2025 rolls around, Prabhas will shift focus to the Kalki 2898 AD sequel in February. The actor will grow out his hair for this role as the futuristic saga unfolds. But even as he works on Kalki, preparations for his next major project, Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, will begin.
Spirit is already creating a buzz as fans eagerly wait to see Prabhas in a cop avatar. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his distinctive vision, has promised a unique look for Prabhas’ character, much like he did with Ranbir Kapoor’s dual looks in Animal.
The source reveals, “Like he had imagined Ranbir in two different looks in Animal [2023], the director has envisioned a distinct avatar for Prabhas’ cop character. They will have look tests after the script is ready.”
With his packed filming schedule, Prabhas is expected to impress his fans with very different looks in his upcoming films. Each project will feature him in a new role, ranging from a common man to a soldier, then a futuristic character, and finally, a cop in Spirit.
