About Ramayana
Reportedly, Indira Krishna will be portraying the role of Kaushalya in the film. Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial will star Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Raavan, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman.
Last month, it was reported that the film would be a two-part series instead of a trilogy. A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, “Given the scale and magnitude of the film, the makers have opted for a two-part approach to tell the story. While most in the business await the results of part one before taking the second one on floors, Ramayana will be shot simultaneously.”
Despite rumours of the shoot being halted due to a copyright infringement case on the makers, a source has dismissed these rumours, revealing that the shoot is progressing smoothly.
