Mumbai has always been a major part of his journey & makes it the perfect inspiration for ARKS. The actor has been passionate about launching a fashion brand for years. In 2023, on People by WTF with Nikhil Kamath, he shared his vision beyond films.
“I’ve been a sneakerhead since I was a kid. I am very passionate about it. But I am very scared because I don’t know India as well. I don’t know the market,” he admitted.
ARKS is not just about sneakers. Kapoor wants to create everyday essentials, including high-quality white T-shirts, jeans, and shirts. He believes in keeping it simple yet stylish.
“Streetwear is a bit bastardized now. I would like to call it like what a white T-shirt should be like, what jeans should be like, what a white shirt should be like, and of course, sneakers because I love sneakers,” he explained.
Ranbir’s Upcoming Film Projects
Apart from ARKS, Kapoor has a packed film lineup. He will star in Love And War directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It also features his wife Alia Bhatt and actor Vicky Kaushal. The project marks his reunion with Bhansali after Saawariya (2007). He is also set to play a key role in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.
Additionally, he also has YRF’s Dhoom 4 and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal Park.
