Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar The Revenge Full Advance Booking Likely To Open On March 14, Blockbuster Start On The Cards Ahead Of March 19 Release

Ranveer Singh is heading into one of the most closely watched box office openings of the year, and the momentum around Dhurandhar: The Revenge is only getting louder. With paid previews already showing solid traction across top multiplex chains, all eyes are now on the next big trigger point for a film’s opening, full-fledged advance booking.

As of March 13, 2026, the Aditya Dhar directorial is due in cinemas next week, and the trade is tracking its pre-sales trajectory as a key indicator of opening weekend demand.

Full Advance Booking For Dhurandhar The Revenge Expected To Go Live On March 14

Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that the full advance booking of Dhurandhar: The Revenge for Day 1 and the opening weekend is likely to open on March 14, 2026, around five days before the film’s worldwide theatrical release on March 19. The film also has paid previews scheduled for March 18.

The development comes amid an ongoing contention between distributors and national multiplex chains, which has delayed the opening of full advances. The expectation is that the matter will be settled by March 14, following which the advance booking window for the opening day and weekend will roll out widely.

At the moment, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has already recorded notable traction for paid previews at major national chains, which is why the launch of full advances is being seen as the point where the film’s opening weekend run will truly take shape. With buzz concentrated around the preview shows, the early days of Day 1 sales may show some front-loading effects, but the wider demand is expected to strengthen once weekend inventory opens up across circuits.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge is directed by Aditya Dhar and features Ranveer Singh in the lead, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi among others. The film is positioned as a large-scale action spy thriller and is set for a multi-language release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios.

Ranveer Singh’s Recent And Upcoming Work

Ranveer Singh was last seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023), co-starring Alia Bhatt, which marked a major return to the big screen and found strong audience traction. Before that, he headlined Cirkus (2022) and Jayeshbhai Jordaar (2022), both theatrical releases that showcased him in distinctly different commercial spaces.

Looking ahead, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is his next major theatrical tentpole. He is also attached to Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3, which has been widely announced as the next instalment in the franchise with Ranveer in the lead role.
