Fans of the blockbuster hit Salaar Part 1: The Ceasefire have been eagerly awaiting updates on its sequel and were excited when the reports of Kiara Advani being considered for the female lead in Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam arrived.
However, these recent speculations surrounding Bollywood star Kiara Advani’s involvement in the film have been debunked.
Truth Behind Reports Of Kiara Advani In Salaar Part 2
Rumours had been swirling about Kiara Advani potentially joining the cast of Salaar Part 2, but according to a source cited by Pinkvilla, these claims are baseless. It appears that the actress was never approached for a role in the sequel, putting an end to the speculation.
The complete cast and crew for Salaar Part 2 are yet to be officially announced, but it’s anticipated that most of the actors from the first instalment will reprise their roles.
This includes Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles, alongside Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Sriya Reddy, John Vijay, Tinnu Anand, and Easwari Rao.
Earlier, reports were suggesting that Kiara Advani might take on a lead role in the sequel alongside Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. However, it has now been clarified that she won’t be part of the project.
About Salaar Part 1
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is a Telugu movie released in 2023, full of action and intrigue. Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the film boasts a star-studded cast including Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and more.
The story revolves around Deva (played by Prabhas), the exiled prince of Khansaar, and Varadha (played by Prithviraj), the current prince. When a plot to overthrow Varadha’s rule emerges, he turns to Deva for help in reclaiming his rightful place as the ruler of Khansaar.
Salaar hit theatres on December 22, 2023, in both standard and IMAX versions. It was a big hit, earning a whopping Rs 715 crore at the box office, which is impressive considering its Rs 270 crore budget. This success made it the top-grossing Telugu film of 2023.
Kiara Advani: Work Front
While Kiara Advani won’t be part of Salaar Part 2, she has other exciting projects lined up. She will be appearing in a Telugu film titled Game Changer, alongside Ram Charan. The movie, directed by Shankar, is a political thriller and is nearing the end of its production phase. You can expect to see it hit the screens around September or October.
Apart from her Telugu venture, Kiara is gearing up for the much-awaited Bollywood action flick Don 3, where she stars opposite Ranveer Singh.
