Salman Khan is once again in the spotlight for troubling reasons. The actor has received a fresh death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has been a source of concern for him in recent months.
In this latest development, the threat demands that he either apologise at the Bishnoi community temple or pay a hefty sum of Rs 5 crore.
Salman Khan Gets Fresh Death Threat
Reports indicate that the Mumbai Police Traffic Control Room received a WhatsApp message on November 4, 2024, claiming to be from Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother.
According to sources, the message was quite explicit. It warned Salman, “This is Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother speaking… If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should either apologise at our temple or pay Rs 5 crore. If he does not comply, we will kill him. Our gang is still active.”
Mumbai Police Investigates The Matter
Mumbai police have taken this threat seriously. They have initiated an investigation to trace the source of the message.
In a tweet, ANI confirmed that a case is being registered. The tweet read, “In the case of a threat to actor Salman Khan, the process of registering the case is underway at Worli Police Station. The number from which the message came is being traced: Mumbai Police.”

This is not the first time Salman Khan has faced threats. His safety has been a pressing issue ever since the tragic murder of politician Baba Siddique, who was a close friend of the actor.
Salman Khan Is Shooting For Sikandar With High Security Measures
Following that incident, Salman’s security was heightened. Despite the dangers, he has continued to work on his film Sikandar as scheduled, ensuring that high-level security measures are in place.
India Today reported that “His entire team is being careful about the security arrangements, and Salman himself has been making sure that no one suffers a delay because of him.” The actor remains focused on his work while prioritising the safety of his crew.
Sikandar, presented by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by AR Murugadoss, is set to hit theatres on Eid 2025. The film promises to be an action-packed entertainer, featuring a talented cast that includes Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi. Currently, Salman and Rashmika are filming in Hyderabad, and the team is aiming to wrap up production by the end of the year.
