Sources reveal that the film’s trailer is ready to debut and will make its way online on March 29. It is expected to be launched at a grand event in Mumbai. Adding to the excitement, the trailer will also play in theatres alongside Salman Khan’s action-packed Sikandar.
This crossover has taken fans by surprise, making The Bhootnii one of the most talked-about films of the season. The movie brings a fresh mix of horror, comedy, and romance with a star-studded cast of Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Beyounick, and Aasif Khan.
What To Expect From Sanjay Dutt Starrer Horror-Comedy
The first teaser, released by Sohum Rockstar Entertainment, gave a sneak peek into the eerie yet entertaining world of The Bhootnii. The clip starts with Sanjay Dutt’s commanding voiceover setting the tone with dark, haunting visuals of spirits and a cursed tree.
The tension rises as Sunny Singh’s character desperately calls for help while his lover (played by Palak Tiwari) is dragged away by a supernatural force. Mouni Roy takes centre stage as a chilling ghost, while Dutt’s intense look at the end leaves a lasting impression. The teaser closes with the message, “Bhootnii machayegi taandav on April 18, 2025.”

Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, The Bhootnii is presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Three Dimension Motion Pictures. The film is produced by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay Dutt, with Hunar Mukut and Maanayata Dutt as co-producers. The film will hit theatres on April 18, 2025.
