About Sarfira
Sarfira is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru. The film delves into the world of startups and aviation, aiming to inspire everyday people to dream big, even if those dreams seem crazy to others.
National Award-winning director Sudha Kongara, who directed the original Soorarai Pottru, shared her excitement about Sarfira. She said, “With Sarfira, we have aimed to craft a musical marvel that not only entertains but also leaves a lasting impact on the viewers’ hearts. The soundtrack is diverse and will connect with fans across segments.”
Kongara is known for her work on films like Irudhi Suttru (Tamil), Saala Khadoos (Hindi), and Guru (Telugu), in addition to Soorarai Pottru.
For those unfamiliar, South actor Suriya played the lead role in Soorarai Pottru. He is also expected to make a guest appearance in the Hindi remake. Sarfira features Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal in key roles alongside Akshay Kumar.
