Shah Rukh Khan is on the path to recovery after suffering a heat stroke during a recent IPL match, as confirmed by his close friend and actress Juhi Chawla.
SRK was admitted to Ahmedabad’s KD Hospital following the clash between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Tuesday.

Juhi Chawla Shares Shah Rukh Khan’s Health Update
The news of Khan’s hospitalisation swiftly circulated, prompting concern among his vast fan base. However, Juhi Chawla provided a reassuring update to News18, stating, “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals.”
Accompanied by his children Suhana and AbRam, along with his manager Pooja Dadlani, Khan was present at the Narendra Modi Stadium for the match. Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta, who share ownership of KKR with Khan, were also spotted leaving the hospital, albeit avoiding interaction with the media. Shortly after news of Khan’s hospitalisation emerged, his wife Gauri Khan arrived at the hospital.

Meanwhile, Suhana Khan returned to Mumbai and was later seen photographed with friends Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, and Navya Nanda at a private airport.
Well-wishers from across the globe have been extending their support and best wishes for Khan’s swift recovery, hoping to see him cheering on KKR in the upcoming finals.
For those unaware, Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan’s friendship traces back to the early ’90s, and they have shared the screen in numerous films including Darr, Yes Boss, Duplicate, and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.

KKR’s win over SRH on Tuesday secured their place in the IPL 2024 finals, winning by 8 wickets.
