Shah Rukh Khan In Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra & It’s MORE Than Just Being A Cameo

Shah Rukh Khan & the wait of announcing his next film should come to an end by tomorrow i.e. 2nd November, his birthday. But before that, we have a festival bonus for SRKians & it’s big. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna’s Brahmastra will see Shah Rukh Khan in a very pivotal role.

Shah Rukh Khan has worked with Ranbir Kapoor in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and it has been one of the best cameos to come out of the Bollywood. It would be interesting to see how director Ayan Mukerji manages to fit in two such wonderful actors in a single frame.

A source close to Mumbai Mirror revealed, “It’s a guest appearance but Shah Rukh Khan plays a pivotal role in taking Ranbir’s journey forward. He has already allotted his dates for his portions and will shoot before the year-end.”

Both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will move to Manali to shoot some pending portions of the film. Shah Rukh Khan will shoot his sequences by the year-end as he has another film to start.

Before this Brahmastra was supposed to release on Christmas 2019 and clash with Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3. But the makers averted the clash and announced in April that the movie will release in Summer 2020. Back then, Ayan Mukerji took to this Instagram and posted, “When we broke the logo of ‘Brahmastra’ at the Kumbh, we were excited that the end of that road was in sight Christmas 2019, the date we announced for the release of the movie. But in the past week, I have learned that all the teams working on the movie, led by my VFX teams, need more time in order to get the VFX right, to get the sound and music right, and eventually to get the film right.”

“With that in mind, we are moving away from Christmas 2019 as our goal for the release of our movie. Working towards that goal could affect the most important goal, which is to create the best possible movie experience that ‘Brahmastra’ can be.”
