Shah Rukh Khan is back with a splash – literally! The Bollywood superstar embraces the thrill of surfing in Thums Up’s latest “Dum Hai Toh Dikha” ad campaign. The ad launched by Coca-Cola India’s homegrown brand challenges people to prove their strength.
SRK Rides The Waves Like A Pro In Thums Up Ad Campaign
The ad kicks off with SRK standing on the shore, exuding his usual charm. He mentions that the weather is perfect for surfing. A young man beside him looks intrigued as Khan adds that surfing “needs dum.”
The guy gets eager to prove himself and takes on the waves. But when he’s done, he realises that Khan has already finished. With a confident smirk, he asks if he managed to impress. SRK then turns to the camera, delivering the campaign’s punchline – if you have dum, show it.

Khan radiates energy in the ad, once again showing why he remains Bollywood’s ultimate showman. Speaking about the campaign, he said that true strength is about standing tall against challenges, which is exactly what Thums Up has represented for years.
Shah Rukh Khan As An Avenger?
While SRK is flexing his power in this campaign, Hollywood is taking notice of his charm too. Recently, American actor Anthony Mackie (the next Captain America) shared his admiration for the Bollywood superstar.
When asked which Bollywood actor he would pick as the next Avenger, Mackie instantly chose Shah Rukh Khan and called him “the damn best.” This isn’t the first time Marvel has shown interest in SRK. A song from Swades was featured in Deadpool 2, and in 2018, Marvel’s then-VP of Creative Development (Stephen Wacker) also hinted at wanting SRK in a Marvel film.
Coming back to the Thums Up campaign, it doesn’t stop here! SRK is set to appear in another high-octane ad alongside Allu Arjun. With both stars known for their electrifying screen presence, fans can expect something even bigger.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next film, King. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film starts shooting in March and features Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in key roles.
