The teaser for Vijay Deverakonda’s 12th film (previously known as VD12) has finally dropped. The action thriller is now officially titled Kingdom. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film introduces Deverakonda in a fierce new avatar as a ‘reincarnated leader’ of the masses. The film is set to release on May 30, 2024.
Kingdom Teaser Is Dark And Gripping
The teaser opens with a chilling visual of a burial ground by the shore, with bodies scattered across the sand. The eerie setting sets a dark tone, building suspense for nearly a minute before Deverakonda makes his grand entrance. His character faces betrayal, chaos, and war, yet continues to lead.
The teaser ends with his spine-chilling words: “I will do anything needed, sir, including destroying everything.” This single line has left fans curious about the film’s intense storyline.
Adding to the teaser’s impact are powerful voiceovers. Jr NTR narrates the Telugu version, while Ranbir Kapoor and Suriya lend their voices to the Hindi and Tamil versions, respectively. Their intense narration adds depth to the gripping visuals.

More About This Vijay Deverakonda Starrer
The film stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. It is produced by Sithara Entertainment in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas. Music sensation Anirudh Ravichander is composing the soundtrack, while Navin Nooli takes charge of editing.
Producer Naga Vamsi also shared a behind-the-scenes picture with Suriya, thanking him for his contribution to the film.
Meanwhile, Deverakonda was last seen in a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD. Now, with Kingdom, he is set to return to the big screen in an action-packed role that could redefine his career.
