However, according to certain reports, their collaboration was dissolved due to divergent creative viewpoints. Originally, Kapoor was slated to portray dual characters in the film. Despite their parting, exclusive information has surfaced indicating that the movie has not been abandoned.
Details about Anees Bazmee’s next revealed
Previously, a source informed us that Shahid and Bazmee mutually chose to go their separate ways regarding this comedy film. Now, that same source has disclosed that Anees will begin searching for fresh actors, affirming that the movie is still on track. The director holds a strong belief in his project’s potential and intends to swiftly select new performers for the roles.
According to the source, it has been unveiled that Anees Bazmee will soon be reaching out to fresh talents. He holds strong assurance in the comedic aspects of his screenplay. While certain media outlets suggest the project’s cancellation, it’s now established that the movie is indeed moving forward, albeit with a new ensemble. Originally scheduled to commence filming in August 2023, the production was postponed and slated to begin in September. However, following Shahid’s departure, the team will make a determination once the cast selection is completed.
Dil Raju was said to be producing a film titled Double Trouble, which reportedly included Rashmika Mandanna in the main role.
Meanwhile, Anees Bazmee is simultaneously working on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, where he will be directing Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. The movie is set to grace theaters during Diwali 2024. Kartik will be reprising his character as Rooh Baba in this installment. The second part, also helmed by Bazmee, hit screens in 2022, featuring Kiara Advani and Tabu, and proved to be a massive success at the box office.
