Salman Khan fans are in for a treat this December as the actor is set to reveal the first official poster and look of his upcoming action film, Sikandar, on his birthday, December 27, 2024.
The film, directed by AR Murugadoss, marks another collaboration between Salman and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, following their successful partnerships on films like Kick and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
Sikandar 1st Look Expected On Salman Khan’s Birthday
A source close to the production shared with India Today Digital, “The team is currently immersed in shooting high-octane action sequences and planning the promotional campaign. The actor’s birthday is being considered the perfect occasion to kickstart the promotional activities with his highly anticipated rugged and intense look from the movie.”
After wrapping up a lengthy schedule in Hyderabad, Salman recently resumed shooting for Sikandar in Mumbai. The latest leg of the shoot began this week, with Salman joining the team on Wednesday to film a high-stakes train action sequence. This scene is said to be one of the film’s highlights.
Salman Khan Resumes The Shoot In Mumbai After Hyderabad Schedule
The massive train sequence was shot at a studio in Borivali, Mumbai, where the team recreated a railway station set-up with a crowd of 30 extras. In order to maintain security, the crew took extra precautions by filming a version of the scene a day earlier with around 350 people, keeping the shoot as private as possible.
The production team is aiming to wrap up the Mumbai schedule by the end of January, ensuring everything is on track for the highly anticipated Eid release next year. The team is dedicated to maintaining the film’s release date while also ensuring Salman’s security throughout the process.
Salman All Set For Da-Bangg Tour
Alongside his work on Sikandar, Salman is preparing for his live performance tour, Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded. Set to kick off in Dubai on December 7, the superstar will perform at the Dubai Harbour before taking the show to other cities in the Middle East, including Jeddah and Doha
