Instead of releasing the song before the film’s premiere, as is typical with most promotional tracks, the creators of The Buckingham Murders chose to release it after the movie’s debut.
They aimed to let the film’s word-of-mouth momentum build naturally, and now, the emotional impact of the song has further heightened its appeal. The strategy appears to have worked, with the track quickly connecting with audiences.

Teaming up once again with Ektaa R Kapoor, the duo is making waves in the mystery-thriller genre, having previously collaborated on hits like Veere Di Wedding and the upcoming Crew.
The film, released in cinemas on September 13, 2024, stars Kareena alongside an impressive cast, including Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.
Directed by Hansal Mehta and written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, The Buckingham Murders has already earned its place among top thrillers.
