Kiran Rao’s upcoming Laapataa Ladies is all set for its release and the team is leaving no stone unturned to promote the film across the nation. While the trailer and the songs have set the perfect tone for the film, the director Kiran Rao, and the cast Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, and Sparsh Shrivastava took the film to Bhopal, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bangalore, and Delhi on a promotional tour.
Amid the ongoing promotional voyage, director Kiran Rao has been joined by the Indian writer and comedian, Varun Grover for his upcoming, All India Rank, and watching these two directors promoting each other’s films is absolutely bliss.
Cross Promotion Of Laapata Ladies And All India Rank
In a collaborative promotional approach, Varun Grover and Kiran Rao were seen promoting each other films. While All India Rank marks Varun’s directorial debut, Laapataa Ladies is Kiran Rao’s 2nd directorial. The directors were seen expressing their delight and love for the release of the films as Varun’s All India Rank is coming on 23rd February, and Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies will be released just a week ahead on 1st March. While Kiran Rao was seen promoting All India Rank, Varun Grover promoted Laapataa Ladies.
While sharing a video on his social media, both Varun Grover jotted down a caption –
“Two teams of two indie films with all new actors met on a promotion tour and decided to give a shout-out to each other. @allindiarankmovie x LAAPATA LADIES!”
Presented by Jio Studios, Laapataa Ladies is directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande. The film Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava along with Ravi Kishan and is releasing on March 1st, 2024, and has been made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, with the script based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami. The screenplay and dialogue are written by Sneha Desai, while the additional dialogues have been jotted down by Divyanidhi Sharma.
