Tiger 3, the third installment of the blockbuster spy thriller franchise starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, released this Diwali. The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films, had slowed down yesterday due to World Cup, growth on Monday and Tuesday is crucial for a healthy lifetime collection.
Ruaan song video, Ft Salman, Katrina out now
The film is not just about guns and explosions. It also has a romantic side, which is beautifully captured in the song Ruaan, sung by the melodious Arijit Singh and composed by the talented Pritam. The song video, which was released after the film’s success, depicts the love and longing between Tiger (Salman Khan) and Zoya (Katrina Kaif), who are separated by fate and circumstances.
The video features Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as they set out on a journey to where they visit a ranch. While there is enough romance, there is also something that is bothering Tiger, and he can be seen looking at Zoya with a worrying gaze. The video also reminisces the old times both the agents have spent together.

The song features some breathtaking scenes of the couple in exotic locations, where they reminisce about their past and hope for their future. The song also showcases their sizzling chemistry, as they share some intimate moments and dance gracefully. Salman Khan looks dapper in a tuxedo, while Katrina Kaif looks stunning in a white dress.
The lyrics of the song, written by Irshad Kamil, are poetic and poignant, conveying the depth of their emotions and the pain of their separation.
Ruaan is a song that will touch your heart and make you feel the emotions of the characters. It is a song that celebrates love and longing, and adds to the charm and appeal of Tiger 3.
Director Maneesh Sharma reveals why video of ‘Ruaan’ wasn’t released before film’s release
The lyrical audio was released almost two weeks back, before the film’s release but the song video was held back which was a bold decision by Yash Raj films.
Director Maneesh Sharma had revealed, “Tiger and Zoya are on a much more personal and intense journey in this film, and Ruaan gives voice to that. The way it’s picturised in the film, we really wanted to keep such main story plots, the way they are meant to be experienced – in the cinema, in the moment.”
Maneesh added on this gutsy decision, “Knowing that we have this soulful song sung by Arijit Singh, picturised on Salman Khan, and taking a decision to withhold it – it’s been tough!”
He added, “But we know that at the end, when you hear Ruaan in the context of the story you will know that we did the right thing! We feel it is a huge, huge moment and it will add to the excitement around Tiger 3 on release day.”
