A year ago, the entire nation was shocked to read about the death of a tailor in Udaipur Rajasthan. In it, two men walked into a tailor shop posing as customers and beheaded the tailor. This was done because the tailor Kanhaiya Lal supported BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma over her comments. While the gruesome murder was barbaric in every way, what makes it more sinister is that the killers recorded the entire ordeal on camera and later even boasted about the murder on camera.
Now, reportedly the case, which took place on 28 June 2022, is being adapted into a film. According to ANI, the makers are in the initial stage of the production and they are talking with the kin of Kanhaiya. Jani Firefox, which is a Mumbai-based production company, has shown interest in producing the film.
