Akshay Kumar is ready to bring laughter back to cinemas with his much-awaited film Welcome To The Jungle. The film is being directed by Ahmed Khan.
As per a Pinkvilla report adventure comedy is set to hit the screens during Christmas 2025. With 75% of the filming already done, the excitement is high for the revival of this popular franchise.
A 2-Hr Edit Of Welcome To The Jungle Locked
The movie features a massive ensemble cast, including Bollywood favourites like Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, and Shreyas Talpade, led by Akshay Kumar.
The storyline promises an unexpected adventure that takes the characters from India’s lush forests to Kashmir’s snowy landscapes. Sources reveal the makers have already completed a two-hour rough cut of the footage, and the team is thrilled with the results so far.
Akshay Kumar Starrer Expected To Wrap Up By June 2025
The shooting is expected to wrap up by June 2025, with post-production work focusing heavily on high-quality visual effects. Sources say the VFX work for the completed footage is progressing smoothly, with the remaining portions also requiring significant VFX input. The film is touted as one of Bollywood’s most ambitious comedies.
Talking about the Christmas release plans of Welcome To The Jungle, the idea comes with some serious competition. James Cameron’s highly anticipated Avatar 3 is set to release around the same time. Alia Bhatt’s YRF action film Alpha will also debut on Christmas 2025 followed closely by Kiara Advani’s Shakti Shalini. If Welcome To The Jungle is released during Christmas, the competition will be high.
Akshay Kumar’s Work Front
Before Welcome To The Jungle arrives, Akshay Kumar will entertain audiences with Housefull 5 and Jolly LLB 3. Following that, he’ll be seen in the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, set for an April 2026 release. Meanwhile, Hera Pheri 3 is also expected to start production in December 2025.
