Prabhas’ look from the upcoming film Kannappa was recently leaked online, causing concern among the film’s team. Prabhas, who has several major projects ahead, plays a cameo in this fantasy film based on the legend of a devotee of Lord Shiva.
While not much is known about his role, an image from the film was shared on X (formerly Twitter), upsetting the makers.
Kannappa Makers Share Official Statement After Prabhas’ Look Gets Leaked From The Sets
In response, 24 Frames Factory released a statement to express their disappointment. They explained that the leaked image was an unfinished “work in progress” that was stolen and shared without permission.
The team shared that they had put in 8 years of hard work to create the film. “For the past eight years, we have poured our hearts and souls into Kannappa,” the statement said.
The production house also emphasised the damage caused by the leak, noting that it undermines the efforts of “thousands of people,” including over 2,000 VFX artists.
They are investigating how the image was leaked and considering legal action. They also announced a Rs 5 lakh reward for anyone who helps identify the person responsible for the leak. Fans were urged not to share the image, as doing so could result in legal consequences.
