RC 16 Goes On Floors In Mysore, Here’s When Ram Charan & Janhvi Kapoor Are Expected To Join The Shoot!

Ram Charan starrer RC 16 has officially started filming in Mysore. The lead stars set to join the shoot next week.

Buchi Babu Sana’s much-anticipated film RC 16 has officially begun filming in Mysore, marking an exciting start for the project. The director, known for his hit debut Uppena, shared the milestone moment with fans.

He posted a picture of himself in front of the Chamundeshwari Matha temple on Friday, seeking blessings for the journey ahead.

RC 16 Director Shares Update As The Production Begins

Buchi expressed his excitement on social media and wrote, “It’s a BIG DAY… The most awaited moment. Started with the blessings of Chamundeshwari Matha, Mysore. Blessings needed. #RC16” alongside an image of himself holding the RC 16 script. 

The film’s lead actress, Janhvi Kapoor, responded with enthusiasm. She commented “Sir” and shared fire, heart, clapping, and prayer emojis. 

Ram Charan’s Magadheera co-star, Dev Gill, and his cousin, Pawan Tej Konidela, also sent their good wishes, with Pawan Tej writing, “We all are waiting to. All the best buchimayya eragathisey. (kill it my friend Buchi).”

Jagapathi Babu Joins The Ram Charan-Janhvi Kapoor Starrer

Producers Mythri Movie Makers also revealed an exciting addition to the cast. Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu has joined the project to play a “commanding character” that is sure to leave an impact. 

The production team expressed their excitement on social media, welcoming Jagapathi Babu on board, saying, “Team #RC16 welcomes the incredibly talented @IamJagguBhai on board for a commanding character that will impress one and all.”

This isn’t Jagapathi’s first collaboration with Ram Charan, as they previously worked together on Rangasthalam.

Here’s When The Lead Actors Will Begin Filming

Filming for RC 16 is already underway with Buchi Babu leading the way, and sources have confirmed that Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor will join the shoot on Monday to begin filming some key scenes. 

Ram Charan, who is known for his dedication to fitness, has undergone a physical transformation for his role in the film. His trainer, Shivoham, hinted at the actor’s intense preparation earlier this year through a post on Instagram.

The film, set in Uttarandhra, is expected to be a sports drama, and the buzz around it is growing. Vijay Sethupathi, who worked with Buchi Babu in Uppena, has already predicted that RC 16 will be a “sure shot blockbuster” during a press event in Hyderabad.
