Divyenndu has confirmed that Madgaon Express 2 is officially in the works, with Kunal Kemmu already writing the sequel. The update gives fans their clearest sign yet that the hit comedy franchise is moving ahead.
In an exclusive update, Raj Kundra’s niece Vanshika Dhir is set to make her Bollywood debut in Kunal Khemu’s Madgaon Express spin off. The Amazon MGM production will mark a major launch for the newcomer alongside Khemu’s directorial vision.
After the success of Madgaon Express, Kunal Khemu is reportedly teaming up with Amazon MGM for a new film. The movie will be a spin-off based on his popular cameo character from his directorial debut.

Madgaon Express again managed to stay afloat and added 1.71 crore nett over 5th weekend. It will cross 2.50 crore nett in 5th week.
Maidaan crossed 2.16 crore nett over 4th weekend and crossed 3.62 crore nett in 4th week.
Madgaon Express added 44 lacs on 4th Friday, 80 lacs on 4th Saturday and 95 lacs on 4th Sunday. Film crossed 2.19 crore nett over 4th weekend and should cross 5 crore nett in 4th week.
Madgaon Express collected 6 crore nett in 3rd week which is similar to 2nd week (6.48 crore nett) and that’s good hold.
Madgaon Express has total of 25.15 crore nett and is heading for under 30 crore nett lifetime total from here. Seems like another flop at box office though it gives some kind of force to mid budget films without any major cast.
Madgaon Express got benefit of open week as there was no major release. Film added 71 lacs nett, 1.28 crore nett and 1.41 crore nett over 3rd weekend with total of 3.42 crore nett.
