Nag Ashwin‘s Kalki 2898 AD is eagerly awaited by both the industry and fans, with its release set for Thursday, June 27. This highly anticipated film will be available in multiple languages and formats, including 2D, 3D, and IMAX.
Advance Booking Of Kalki In National Chains
The much-awaited Nag Ashwin-directed Kalki, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone is finally hitting the big screen on Thursday, June 27, 2024. It’s touted to be one of the biggest films of Indian Cinema and the hype is slowly catching on across the country, as the tickets went on sales over the weekend on Sunday.
The futuristic saga, set against the backdrop of Mahabharata, has been certified U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification with an approved run time of 3 hours and 56 seconds.
Film has sold more than 1,25,000 tickets in national chains as of 11 pm on Wednesday. Film has sold 96,000 tickets in Pvr and Inox in addition to 29,000 tickets in Cinepolis.
Kalki advance booking as of 11 am on Wednesday:
PVR + Inox: 54,000
Cinepolis: 16,000
Total: 70,000 tickets
Kalki advance booking as of midnight on Wednesday:
PVR + Inox: 96,000
Cinepolis: 29,000
Total: 1,16,000 tickets
Film is releasing on Thursday so it has 12 hours to go for advance booking. Film will cross 1.25 lac tickets in national chains by tonight and it should open in excess of 22 crore nett on day one in Hindi market.
But India’s World Cup Semi Final world cup cricket match will affect film’s opening day. Still good word of mouth will ensure a good weekend. The film will also benefit due to a two-week open run at the box office.
Kalki advances have opened with a bang in the South Indian markets too, and this was expected due to the presence of Prabhas and the stellar star-cast alongside to support him and the content.
